Payment & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Chengal Centre for your mental health support. This Payment & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for payment and cancellations for the therapy services booked through our website. By booking and paying for a session with one of our therapists, you agree to the terms specified in this policy.

2. Payments

  • Step 1: Bookings for consultations and therapy sessions may be made online through our website, or through Whatsapp, or through a phone call.
  • Step 2: Your card details are required at the time of booking through our secure online payment system (powered by Stripe), and are required to confirm your appointment. You will not be charged until we have informed you of an invoice to be billed and only after you have authorized us to do so. If you prefer not to share your payment information, you are required to pre-pay for the session upfront.
  • Step 3: Once your card details have been saved, you will receive a booking confirmation email with details of your session.
  • Step 4:
    • In-Person: Patients visit the clinic at the scheduled time.
    • Virtual: Patients join the session via the provided link.
  • Step 4.5: If additional services or medications are required, the doctor or therapist will advise as such. If you agree to this, Chengal will generate a follow-up invoice. Payment for follow-up services must be completed before fulfillment (e.g., medication delivery, tests, reports etc).
  • Step 5: At the completion of the consultation or treatment:
    • In-Person: Clients may pay at the counter with credit/debit cards, e-wallets, or bank transfers.
    • Virtual: The payment is processed securely through the clinic’s payment gateway, through the card on file. You will be informed of the total invoice amount, and we will only charge you after you have authorized us to do so.

Please take note: ALL appointments are reserved at the point of scheduling either online or in-person. The confirmation of the timeslots reserved for an appointment would be communicated exclusively through;


A valid email provided at the point of registration and/or;
A WhatsApp message to the number provided at the point of registration

*All scheduled appointments are treated as a reservation of said timeslot for the respective mental professional. Please refer to the rescheduling and cancellation policies down below to know more.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellation by Clients

We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise. If you need to reschedule your session, please inform us as soon as possible.

  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours before the session, as the therapist’s time has been reserved specifically for your session.
  • No-Shows: If you do not attend the scheduled session and do not reschedule in advance, you will be charged the full session fee through the card on your file.
  • Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule a session up to one time, subject to availability, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before your original session time. You must provide a date for rescheduling in your request; otherwise, we will automatically reschedule it to 7 days after the original appointment.

4. Rescheduling by Chengal

  • In rare cases, a session may need to be amended or rescheduled due to circumstances such as therapist illness, emergencies, or technical issues. If this occurs, we will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible and offer an alternative session time, or an alternative therapist.

5. Exceptions

  • There are no exceptions to the cancellation policy unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Chengal Centre Sdn Bhd management.
  • All sales are final, as payments are only collected at the completion of service. There will be strictly no refunds.
  • Any changes to this policy will be communicated to clients through updates on the website or via email.
